Congratulations ADPP Angola for launching your 2020 Annual Report

2021-06-01

ADPP COver

We are proud and delighted to support our member ADPP Angola at the occasion of launching their people-centered 2020 Annual Report. In 2020, ADPP Angola

operated 85 projects in 65 municipalities spread across 17 provinces impacting more than 1,000,000 Angolans.

It is always a pleasure to be able to share the results of the hard work of staff, volunteers and everyone involved in the many projects implemented by ADPP Angola.

Resounding impact has been achieved in education, health, sustainable agriculture and environment, integrated community development and other related thematic areas. Systematic people-to-people approaches, efforts anchored on building grassroots resilience and adaptation, and the ensuring that education must continue no matter what, are some of the notable key issues captured in the report.

What is unique about the ADPP Angola 2020 Annual Report is the thread running through it of people creating development whilst striving at all cost to observe COVID-19 prevention guidelines and its many diverse social life interruptions.

‘This annual report is about exceptional solutions in exceptional circumstances. It is also about persistence, tenacity, forging ahead to meet the needs of the communities and about ensuring that development continues, people to people. 2020 will forever be associated with the Covid-19 pandemic, but it will also be celebrated as a year when people to people efforts shone through a most difficult time and when the extra mile brought hope and positive outcomes for thousands of people. ’ says Rikke Viholm, Chairperson of the Board of Directors, ADPP Angola.
